The purpose of this study is to discuss what realistic factors hinder the ideal of Donghak, and to explore what practical actions can promote the ideal of Donghak. As a research method for this, literature research, digital data in various fields, statistics and some media reports were used. The contents of this study are: First, the ideal of Donghak is hindered by the inequality caused by humans in human society. The biggest contributors to inequality in our society are the 1% vested interests and pro-Japanese groups. Second, the ideal of Donghak is hindered by the inequality caused by humans in the ecosystem. At this time, the perpetrator is us, and the victim of inequality is the entire ecosystem, including humans. The results of this study are, first, that a complete reduction in carbon emissions is necessary to alleviate inequality in human society. Second, to reduce inequality in the entire ecosystem, the world population must be reduced to a maximum of 1 billion. In addition to this, the way to perform ‘living like the sky’ on an individual level is the beginning of a vegan diet.
